Glass vs plastic lenses is a matter personal preference as plastic lenses are
optically equal to glass in most cases. We cannot emphasize saftey aspect and
importance of the eye protection offered by plastic lenses. Ask any opthalmoligist
who has had to remove the shards of glass from and eye or eyes and the often
tragic result. Choose your lens carefully based on the activities you engage
in.
We at Sunglasses Internationale feel fortunate to be located in one of the
most beautiful locations in the world: Fort Myers, Florida. We have over 300 days of sunshine a year to test what we sell. In addition trips to Colorado skiing and many other activities allow us to test our products in other non typical Florida environments.
