Sunglasses Internationale was founded by Paul Primeaux, a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain, tournament fisherman ,golfer , skier, snowboarder, National Champion Endurance Racer (multiple classes), hiker, wildlife/birding watcher. He and his staff utilize their diverse background in outdoor sports to ensure that their customers receive the best possible frame and lens combination for every sunglass, whether they are purchased for serious outdoor sports or just navigating a sunny sidewalk in style! In addition, we listen carefully to our customers needs in areas we don't have exposure to.

There are many special purpose applications from polarized to fashion use. Glass vs plastic lenses is a matter personal preference as plastic lenses are optically equal to glass in most cases. We cannot emphasize saftey aspect and importance of the eye protection offered by plastic lenses. Ask any opthalmoligist who has had to remove the shards of glass from and eye or eyes and the often tragic result. Choose your lens carefully based on the activities you engage in.

We at Sunglasses Internationale feel fortunate to be located in one of the most beautiful locations in the world: Fort Myers, Florida. We have over 300 days of sunshine a year to test what we sell. In addition trips to Colorado skiing and many other activities allow us to test our products in other non typical Florida environments.
