Banyans is a surf spot in Kiholo Bay but it is also a famous tree that is located in the courthouse square in Lahaina. The tree was brought from India when it was only 8 feet tall and was planted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Lahainas first Christian mission. The tree is now 50 feet tall and extends over 200 feet from side to side! As you stroll through Banyan State Park Maui Jim can help protect your eyes with our latest style Banyans. Maui Jim Sunglasses are warranted to the original purchaser for two full years from the date of purchase against any defect in materials and workmanship. Maui Jim will repair or replace, at our option, any pair of Maui Jim Sunglasses found to be defective - exclusive of damage caused by improper or unreasonable use.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear, including lens scratching or accidental breakage. This warranty does not cover shipping cost. The repair will generally be completed within five days and returned via US Priority Mail. Any sunglasses returned during the warranty period must be accompanied by the following:
- Original proof of purchase is required. Include a dated copy of the original sales receipt with your returned sunglasses.
- $10.00(U.S. Dollars) for return shipping & handling (international charges will vary). Accepted payment methods include money order, credit card, and checks payable to Maui Jim.
- A brief note indicating how your sunglasses broke.
- Include your name, phone number, and address in the event that we need to contact you. There may be additional charges if your repair is not covered by Maui Jim's warranty.
